Diversified Fort McMurray Steps Up to Support Hockey Fundraiser

Melanie Turner is our Procurement Specialist in Fort McMurray, and last week she reached out to our Diversified Family. Her son’s hockey team was looking for help with their campaign to provide breakfast for kids in need, and once again - we stepped up.

The U11 Grizzlies Hockey Team set out to help the U18 Junior Oil Barons collect boxes of cereal for the school breakfast program in Fort Chipewyan. The call went out on a Wednesday morning, and by the end of the week, our DTL family had donated almost 40 boxes of cereal.

These young hockey players showed great initiative and found a wonderful way to give back to their community. Awesome job boys, and thank you to all who donated!
