On Friday, October 27th, the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce held its annual Business Awards Celebration. Over 300 of Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo’s finest from the business and community spheres graced the event, raising a glass to business excellence and the remarkable spirit of the entrepreneurial community.
Diversified Transportation was honoured to receive the Environment and Sustainability Award, presented by Canadian Natural Resources Limited.
DTL’s Dual Fuel initiative has been a major priority, and the progress made since first announcing the partnership with Diesel Tech Industries in the fall of 2022 has been impressive.
Diversified Transportation’s General Manager David Richards recently met with multiple government agencies to review the progress of the H2 Dual Fuel unit and to discuss the process for official emissions tests and permitting of the unit.
If all goes to plan through phase 5 of the development, DTL will have a unit to launch and demonstrate in late 2023 or early 2024.
The transportation sector must play a vital role in enabling the transition to a low-carbon global economy, and we will continue our efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
