On May 17th we kicked off the start of two projects for Diversified Transportation in Banff National Park. First, we started our second season working for Parks Canada in Lake Louise and we’re not complaining about spending the summer in the mountains. This project starts off with 9 drivers and 4 units, and then increases to 15 units and 42 drivers as of June 1st.
We are also starting the “Early Alpine Shuttle” on June 1st, bringing early morning hikers from Lake Louise to Moraine Lake at 4 and 5 am to witness the breathless sunrises! This year, we had many returning operators as well as some new faces and are excited to be back working on this project.
The second project we are kicking of is assisting Roam Transit with Route 6 from Lake Minnewanka to Banff Townsite. This project starts with one bus and two drivers and will be increasing to three units and 5 drivers starting in mid-June.
We are looking forward to another exciting year in ‘The Park’ and meeting people from all corners of the world visiting our own back yard for some of the most epic scenery mother nature has to offer.
