Diversified Transportation LTD is proud to grow its services to transport construction professionals to remote working locations in United States. This expansion acquisition has started with mining facilities in the state of Nevada, in the regions of Winnemucca and Elko, giving us an exciting opportunity to continue our focus of safety and service to new locations in the U.S.A.
Winnemucca
Diversified Transportation LTD provides motorcoach transportation services to construction personnel, personnel, traveling from Winnemucca, to Lithium Americas’ Thacker Pass development and construction project in rural northern Humboldt County, Nevada. Service commenced in February 2025 with the initial fleet consisting of two buses. At peak construction, more than 50 motorcoaches from Diversified Transportation’s industrial shuttle division will be used daily to support the commuting needs of more than 2,000 employees, skilled trades and construction workers, and staff. Crews will regularly be transported from their accommodations in Winnemucca to the construction site, located more than 60 miles northwest.
With the expertise of its local partners, Diversified Transportation has also established a partnership with Western States Investments LLC and Schommer Construction to supply its on-site teams with additional parking, maintenance support, bus washing, and office space throughout the duration of the contract.

STA Nevada/ dba Diversified is pleased to be working in partnership with Nevada Gold Mines (NGM), a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%), providing bussing between Winnemucca and Battle Mountain for NGM’s Turquoise Ridge mine as well as between Elko and the Carlin mine. Our office in Winnemucca recently opened and our Elko location will be in operation soon.
We are excited to be servicing this area, and we are already exploring many other opportunities in the area. We plan to build upon our successful model that has worked for over 60 years in the Alberta Oil Sands, as well as successful large projects such as Kitimat LNG, and NWR Inter Pipeline Propylene Ltd. projects in the Edmonton region.
